"What's in the box?" workshop for year 6 focusing on substance misuse. This training can be used as evidence towards helping you achieve SMSC.
- Outcomes

Aims and objectives: To learn about some of the risks and effects of legal and illegal drug use and alcohol.By the end of the lesson pupils will be able to:
- Explain risks associated with using any type of drug or alcohol and identify some of the risks and effects of drug and alcohol use
- Recognise that drugs and alcohol have laws related to them and that some drugs are illegal to own, use or give to others
- Analyse the level of risk in different situations, identifying that drugs and alcohol can affect people in different ways
- Explain that for some people drug and alcohol use can become an unhealthy habit that can be difficult to break but there is support available to help people; where to report any concerns they have

We Are With You is a county wide drug and alcohol service providing, early intervention, education and treatment to young people across the county of Lincolnshire, we are a free and confidential service working with young people up to the age of 18 years old:
- the session will last between 60 and 90 minutes (dependent upon each schools preference), including time for questions
- the sessions are interactive to encourage the students to be involved and feel comfortable sharing their knowledge and experiences
- these sessions are normally delivered to class sized groups. However, we are willing to discuss the option of delivery to larger groups in the school hall
- the ‘We Are With You’ trainer is an experienced educator and drug worker, skilled at delivering to young people

The service is county wide and we come to your school during term time. We aim to respond to your request within five working days.
