Various first aid workshops to enable staff to help colleagues, students and members of the public.
- Outcomes

The workshops provide the following:
- staff will be trained with the skills and knowledge to give them the confidence to help fellow colleagues, students and the general public in medical emergency
- staff will be equipped with a nationally recognised first aid qualification
- employers will ensure they have fulfilled their legal responsibilities for providing quality first aid training

LIVES can provide the following courses:
- QA level 3 award in emergency first aid at work (efaw) (one day)
- QA level 3 award in first aid at work (faw) (three days)
- QA level 3 award in emergency paediatric first aid (one day)
- QA level 3 award in paediatric first aid (rqf) (two days)
- QA level 3 award in combined emergency first aid at work and emergency paediatric first aid (one day)
- QA level 3 award in combined first aid at work and paediatric first aid (three days)
- Basic life support (bls) including cpr and aed (half day)
- Basic life support (bls) and management of anaphylaxis (half day)
- Mental health awareness (half day)
- Mental health first aid (two days)
- Moving and handling courses (half day)
- Moving and handling courses (one or two days)

Courses can be delivered onsite for a minimum of six and maximum of 12 candiates. Alternatively, staff can book onto courses we deliver in various venues across Lincolnshire. Four to six weeks' notice is required. Contact training@lives.org.uk.
